The Ohio Hip hop Awards (Artist “Next Up”category), & Northern Kentucky Greater Cincinnati Hip Hop Awards (Best Producer)” Nominee; Prodi Reign born Dysaijah Crenshaw began expanding on his music career at the tender age of 14. In the beginning he went by the name of Choppz (the mouth). It was clear this young reserved, raspy voiced teenager was special, even at such a young age he exhibited such charisma, passion, professionalism, and raw talent. The inevitable result was creating an almost cult-like following, and becoming one of the most renowned teen artist to premier in his hometown.  Long before Choppz became Prodi Reign he's gained the respects & shared stages with the most renowned artist in his hometown (at age 14!) from local performances, to greater venues like B.E.T Award afterparties, stages from Atlanta to California opening up for major acts. Choppz seemed to be at the heights of his career, soon to fall to the equal opposite. In 2010 Prodi spent an extensive period of 3 years incarcerated. Released with renewed focus, greater purpose, seasoned skill and a higher level of substance, Choppz changed his name to exhibit his rebirth and transition into the seemingly omnipotent prince you see today Prodi Reign. Not only has he created a brand with the “Prodigious” movement, but also an upcoming record label, lifestyle and blueprint for individuals with similar trials. It seems time was only fermentation of elevation to that same charisma, passion, professionalism, and raw talent Prodi Reign seems to be born with. Facing an adverse culture, Prodi has made his presence more evident than ever before, outdoing many of his peers in a very short span, setting a major quality standard from music, to visuals that are unmatched in creativity while displaying visionary work ethic. Being the self sufficient artist that he is, Prodi has worked with the most talented producers in his vicinity, however he began to be frustrated & “not feeling one” with his production. In the midst of frustration Prodi made a conscious effort to produce for himself. This unleashed a creative & networking tool that set Prodi to the summit of his artistry. Prodi Reign now produces for many of Cincinnati’s most premier artist; currently successfully venturing to more major placements. Prodi Reign is sure to win the notoriety that is undeniably demanded by his versatility, uniqueness, depth, and quality of his makings. Many artist struggle laboriously trying to establish their musical styles, like a piece of clothing, looking to find what fits. There are others that rarely emerge such as Prodi Reign that come fully formed in full command of their craft, identity, and their music. Usually an artist just emerging has no standing to be labeled legendary, or legendary status for that matter, however, when you hear a song, or see a visual from Prodi Reign, his vision, creativity, & attention to detail reflects nothing less than of those “Nas, Tupac, Kendrick Lamar, J cole”  type figures, with a style & story of his own, it is evident that Prodi Reign embodies that profound & classic essence the Hiphop/Rap community has been longing for. The ”Thronecoming” LP (Produced by Prodi Reign) is a captivating, and moving debut that heralds the arrival of a gifted and significant new talent, who can cater to the dominant culture, while striking on it's own territory. When asked “Who is Prodi Reign?” he states “I’m just a ordinary human being, who has experienced extraordinary things. I have a unique truth, a skill to visualize & capture in ways not drudgery work to fathom.”  With his self produced hit single “Swing My Way” being prepared to take on national airwaves & beginning to be acclaimed in his hometown in an unusual way, granted the opportunity, many believe Prodi Reign is easily one of the next leaders of the new generation.
